Final event for the Enacting Artistic Research (EAR) project – Artistic Research between AI, Science and New Technologies

On the 18 and 19 of February 2026, the final event of EAR – Enacting Artistic Research will take place in Rome. EAR is an international project that brings together art, science and new technologies through the collaboration of Fine Arts Academies, Conservatories, Universities and research centers.

The Università Politecnica delle Marche, through the Department of Construction, Civil Engineering and Architecture, plays a leading role in the project, contributing with presentations and research activities across the Work Packages dedicated to creative processes, advanced diagnostics and immersive technologies. In particular, UNIVPM contributes to the development of design workflows and digital interfaces, as well as to the creation of exhibition devices and applications aimed at enhancing cultural heritage.

The program at the Ara Pacis features presentations by UNIVPM professors and researchers, including Prof. Ramona Quattrini and Alberto Giretti in the WP3 and WP4 round tables. Furthermore, UNIVPM makes a significant contribution to WP2 projects, such as “Tangible Titian: the Gozzi Altarpiece”, developed in collaboration with the State Tactile Museo Omero, Ancona and showcased among the public exhibitions at the Rome Academy of Fine Arts.

The event includes keynotes, round tables, multimedia exhibitions, installations and performances, offering the public a research landscape where art, science and technology interact to explore new models for producing and disseminating knowledge.
